The Ruby is a catalyst for creativity and a new home for making art at Duke University.

Find a nearby spot

The Rubenstein Arts Center does not have a dedicated parking lot. If you are coming from elsewhere on Duke’s campus during the day, we recommend that you take Duke Transit’s free and frequent East-West bus service, which stops across the street from the Ruby.

If you are driving to the Ruby for an event, check the event listing to see if free parking has been arranged.

FREE SPECIAL EVENT PARKING (only available if noted in the event listing):

Parking for special events at the Rubenstein Arts Center (including for Duke Performances shows) is available directly across Anderson Street in the Campus Drive Lot (marked “Weekend Parking” on the map below). The entrance is on Anderson Street, just north of Campus Drive, facing the west side of the Rubenstein Arts Center. A crossing guard may be stationed near the lot entrance to help you safely cross the street.

ADA parking information:

ADA parking is available in the Duke Performances lot adjacent to the Rubenstein Arts Center on a first-come basis at all times. On weekends, the Duke Gardens Weekend Overflow lot is open across Anderson Street from the Ruby and includes ADA spaces as well (also referred to as the Duke University Campus Drive/H lot).

We do not encourage parking in the lot for Nasher Museum of Art.
