Performance, Culture & Technology

SLIPPAGE@Duke
SLIPPAGE@Duke is a think-tank, an interdisciplinary performance research group that explores connections between performance, history, theater, and emergent technology. Under the direction of Duke professor Thomas F. DeFrantz, SLIPPAGE@Duke builds on the urgent need for intentional, critical, and timely interaction among artists, researchers, audiences, engineers, faculty, students, and general publics in the arts. Community House Party
In September, SLIPPAGE@Duke will create an experience as part of the Heather Hart installation "Southern Oracle: We Will Tear the Roof Off". The unusual dance performance will offer a one-of-a-kind interaction with the stunning sculpture as part of the Community House Party on Sunday September 22, at 12 noon.
