“MIDNIGHT RUN is a witty, low-key comedy with the accent on character. Individually, De Niro and Grodin are brilliant; together, they are hilarious.” — Brian D. Johnson, Maclean’s Magazine

Film Screening – Tribute to Charles Grodin (1935 – 2021):
Midnight Run (Martin Brest, 1988, 122 min, USA, English, Color, DCP)
In this madcap cross-country chase comedy, bounty hunter Jack Walsh (Robert De Niro) must escort a bail-jumping accountant and embezzler named “The Duke” (Charles Grodin) from NY to LA, while evading the FBI, the mob, and a rival bounty hunter who are all anxious to get their hands on him. The interplay between De Niro and Grodin is priceless in this odd couple movie par excellence.
Screen/Society screenings are free and open to the public. (COVID-19 Info)
