Description: PERMEABLES is a show of moving image installations made by students in the EXPANDED CINEMA (CINE 639) course. This project-based course explores moving image installation practices beyond the movie theater including alternative public spaces, devices, museums, white cubes and black boxes. In the course, students focus on developing moving image installations of their own that are realized in and around the Rubenstein Arts Center.
