Opening Reception: (In)visible Organ, a mixed media exhibit

This is the opening reception of (In)visible Organ, a mixed media exhibit, part of a larger campaign for women’s empowerment in healthcare—working to demystify women’s reproductive anatomy and start a positive and productive dialogue about the shame and stigma surrounding sexual and reproductive health. At this event, the opening reception for the exhibit, scientists, engineers, artists, humanist, and documentarians will all converge to celebrate women’s health, reproductive anatomy, and rights through the power of dynamic, mixed media storytelling and performance art. Expect free food and beverages, if you are of legal drinking age please bring your ID to partake in free adult beverages. Many of the artists, both students and local Durham creators, will be joining us to discuss their work. We can’t wait! Free and open to the public!
