Internationally renowned director and playwright Richard Maxwell is currently a visiting artist with Duke Theater Studies. During his residency, he will create an installation in the Rubenstein Arts Center’s gallery where participants—comprised of actors and visual artists—will play members of staff in a working restaurant. The performance will involve Maxwell’s written text.
