Description

After seeing the wonder of science and art in “The Art of the Scientist,” we’ll sit down with some local experts to discuss what we gain by weaving these two disciplines together. This conversation will consider what road blocks stand in the way and how those interested in science, communication, and art can help break them down.

Intersections and Roadblocks: A Discussion Panel featuring:

  • Bob Goldstein, a printmaker and Biology professor at UNC Chapel Hill
  • Sarah Armstrong, an ophthalmic photographer at UNC Chapel Hill
  • Sonke Johnsen, a biology professor at Duke University
  • Eric Saliim, who runs the Fab Lab at North Carolina Central University.
