Detavio Samuels is the president of iONE Digital at UrbanOne, the nation’s largest distributor of urban content in the country. At the age of 37, Samuels is one of corporate America’s youngest executives and has helped some of the world’s biggest companies (such as Walmart, Chrysler LLC, NBA and Johnson & Johnson) build their brands and connect to consumers. He is also the President of One Solution, where he oversees the company’s cross-platform sales and integrated marketing groups. Amanda Lewellyn oversees the full production process for new episodes of Skimm’d from the Couch, from prep to upload. Lewellyn pitches, produces, and scripts Skimm Notes, a 10-minute audio news explainer, in theSkimm’s distinct brand voice. She also work closely across teams to manage theSkimm’s audio production schedule and strategy and collaborates with sales and editorial teams to execute branded content opportunities. She started her career with theSkimm as a summer intern and worked at the Duke Reporters’ Lab and Kenan Institute for Ethics while at Duke. More on Lewellyn, here.
