Interested in acting, video, music, painting, sculpture, poetry, or dance? Want to join the collaborative team for a new creative project? Professor Torry Bend (Theater Studies) and Craig Quintero (Humanities Unbounded Fellow) provide a brief introduction to the collaborative model developed at Black Mountain College and discuss the manner in which they will expand on these theories and practices as they develop their new performance “The Forgotten” that will be staged at Duke next spring. The talk will introduce Bend’s puppet/object theatre and Quintero’s image-based theatre. Lunch will be provided.
